Eli Roth’s History of Horror focuses on the oft-maligned but artistically vital genre of horror cinema. The series draws from over 225 extensive interviews conducted over three seasons with  directors, writers, cinematographers, actors, composers, special effects maestros, critics, and scholars. The series focused on the craft and creation of horror films past and present, as well as the place these films hold in popular culture and what they tell us about contemporary society.
